The CCBA Nash team is dedicated to the growth and development of all of our players. All of our coaches have extensive baseball experience at various advanced levels and some still compete competitively today. Our coaching style is always positive, never negative. Our focus is on teaching our players to play the game with passion and confidence while instructing them on the nuances of the game. We are not a "win at all cost" team, we are a "be the best that you can be today" team. We understand that our players will make mistakes, and we encourage them to take risks. Perfection is never an expectation, it's a goal. Our job as coaches is to assist each of our players in reaching their maximum potential. We challenge them to be better than they think they can be, and we mentor them as fellow players.
We will be practicing twice a week, one indoor hitting practice at our CCBA Prosper, TX facility and one outdoor fielding practice at the College Hill facility in Gunter, TX. Each practice is 90 minutes. In addition to our weekly practices, many of our players take advantage of one-on-one instruction provided by a CCBA instructor.
Our Spring 2020 season will start in February and end in June. We will be competing in 10 tournaments starting in March and will end with a World Series tournament towards the end of June. We will start off the season playing at the USSSA 9U-AA level and the NCS D3 level with the intention of moving the team up to AAA/D2 when their ready.
